One week ago, today. My gaga went home.

I am still a little sad. But at least, she is with friends and family that she hasn't seen in a long time, and with Ashly. I hope he is keeping her good company.

Thank you to those who have expressed concern. I appreciate it.

Tim is gone today. He was gone last night too. And he will be gone tonight, and tomorrow morning and tomorrow night and Friday morning. But.....Friday night he will come back. 8) I realized when I got home last night, that my stoopid darling forgot his glasses. Sitting on the edge of the sink. That morning he said "I just feel like I forgot something."
"Did you remember your glasses and contact jizz?" I asked.
"Darling! Don't say that in the in the stairwell!"
"Say what? Jizz?"

Heh. Anyway. I went swimming for the first time this summer in Lake Michigan with Kate. It was cool, refreshing and all that. I also went out and bought American Gods because Sigrid said it was good read and funny to see all the Wisconsin references. So I read last night. It *is* good. And he lives in Menomonie! (I know I say that quite a bit, but really, Menomonie has nothing else to claim fame for, well....other than that crazy mailbomb kid, but they associated him with Stout...the college within Menomonie).

Tonight, for my movie night, I am going to see Lilo and Stitch. Will meet with Mischa and Anne beforehand for dinner...at ummm someplace in Evanston. By the comic books store...olive something. Tomorrow night I am going to see Ghoultown. Then I am going to see them AGAIN in Madison at the Inferno. Friday night is Odyssey Five, and Saturday is Regin of Fire. I love even *thinking* about that movie because Johnny Cash starts signg "I fell into a burning ring of fire....." 8)

I might feel a little out of sorts today.

Last night, I watched the third episode of Odyssey Five. Eric was kind enough to tape it for me last week while I was out adventuring in Wisconsin. I took a roll and half of pictures, and developed the pictures yesterday....but don't think there are too many good ones in there. I might be selective when I put them up. Speaking of putting them up, I upgraded my html editing program my computer in the bedroom, so expect to see more improvements on the website. What kind of improvements? I think mostly just more pictures, with actual captions since I have received complaints on the alternative text.

Tonight is the first Wednesday in which I am starting my "Wednesday Night Movie Night" by myself. My pool buddies decided to ditch me for romantic evening of playing in mud (think Ghost). Since Tim is still playing, I am left to my own devices. That could mean I might just work on stuff in the bedroom. However that would be going against my pledge of last year to get out at least once a week. (While I very well might go out sometime later this week, I enjoy doing Wednesday's because it breaks up the week). Tonight, I can be found at the Evanston Theater watching Minority Report. Come and join me for coffee after the movie. We will chat.

This morning I also got a ride from Kellie, my train friend. She called me up, just as I was foregoing breakfast for making the stupid train, and ...bam! Ride to work. How awesome is that? I got here on time (which always makes me look good). She works in Evanston as well, and is fortunate enough to have a boyfriend that is willing to drive her to work. How sweet is that?

Hm it would appear my dear Kersten is free to criticize me for not posting all the time, yet she herself doesn't seem to know how to hit a few buttons.

I am really excited because this week is only a three day week. WahOO and the one of the three is already done. I have that energy that comes with not having to work, and sitting in an air conditioned room while most of my friends suffer. Thank god for freon.

Wednesday night: Mike and Rachal give me a ride to Milwaukee, where I meet up with my brother in law Ben. Go watch fireworks
Thursday: Hang out with Ben and do whatever he wants to do. At night to go a concert and meet up with Sigrid and Matt stay over at Sigrid's place.
Friday: Get a ride back downtown to the bus depot, take bus to Madison. Look up old friends, and crash at Lowen's house
Saturday: More hanging out, and at night going to Ben and Jen's Pregger's Party for food and fun fun fun, stay over night.
Sunday: Get ride back downtown, or even back to Milwaukee, depending on my persuasion skills and charm. Then Ben picks me up and drives me back to Chicago. He's such a dear. I am starting to think I should take next Monday off as well, and make it into a real five day minivacation.

Don't worry, I will bring my camera and document my little southwestern wisconsin adventure.
